This Privacy Policy describes how AnswerDock AI ("AnswerDock", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website-trained chatbot service. This is a template — review it with legal counsel before launch.

Information we collect

• Account data: name, email, and authentication details.
• Customer content: websites, sitemaps, documents, and text you ask us to index for your chatbots.
• Conversation data: questions and answers exchanged with your chatbots, including page URLs and anonymous visitor identifiers.
• Usage and billing data: message counts, token usage, and plan status.

How we use your content

Your indexed content is used solely to answer questions asked of your chatbots. We do not use your content or your customers' conversations to train our own or third-party foundation models.

Third-party processors

Answers are generated by large language model providers (such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or OpenRouter) under their API terms. Payments are processed by Stripe. Infrastructure is provided by our hosting and database vendors.

Data retention and deletion

You can delete sources, conversations, bots, or your entire workspace at any time from the dashboard; associated indexed content is removed. Contact support for a full account deletion or data export.

Visitor data on customer websites

When you embed our widget, we process your visitors' questions on your behalf. We store an anonymous visitor identifier in the browser to keep conversations continuous. We do not sell visitor data.
